The Payal Singhal Spring 2015 collection is an ode to the enchanting Gulmarg valley in Kashmir where time seems to have stood still. Where paradise is not a paradox, it’s a reality. The contradiction of freedom that the valley doesn’t really have, to the feeling of exhilaration in being there is intriguing and intoxicating.
Exploring this juxtapose is the collection with its monochromatic color palette of Stone and Black done in Silk, Chanderi, Organza and Tulle in a contemporary interpretation of traditional Indian clothing.
