During our Set Design course at Full Sail, we had a guest speaker on Special FX Makeup. I had my stupid little ‘Firehouse Sub’ hat on, so i was chosen from the class to become a burn victim. It was filmed and edited by Brandon Bennefield.

All the base make up was made of Geltin, water and cotton swabs. He then applied black and red make up for the burns and charred skin.
