SHANGHAI, CHINA — Fashion model Ming Xi became the focal point of Victoria’s Secret fashion show in her hometown of Shanghai, China when she tripped and fell on the runway during the taping of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on November 20th.

Despite stumbling, Xi kept her radiant smile and the crowd cheered in support of her. Fellow model Gizele Oliveira later came to the rescue to help Xi get back on her feet so that she could finish walking the runway.

Xi later posted an apology online, saying she felt she had disappointed everyone. After modeling for seven years, Xi said she’s fallen countless times but she knows she must walk on, no matter how painful it is.

Xi later took to her Instagram account to talk more about the incident. She said that stumbling during the show was one of the hardest moments she’s had to go through. However, she was thankful for the support she’s gotten from everyone and vowed to bounce back and continue to walk the runway.
