Wings with LEDs, biotechnological accessories and masks that block Face ID – graduates of the Ukrainian Fashion Education Group once again demonstrated a group project at the Ukrainian Fashion Week.
The show began with the Cyber Angels block, dedicated to combining spiritual origin and technological progress in the man of the XXI century. Creating looks that literally lightened up on the catwalk, young designers reflected on the topic of who is a human today, when the virtual world is intersected with the physical, and human beings have digital identities and freely cross the boundaries of cyberspace. The costumes with wings complemented the masks printed on a 3D printer that block face ID.
Then the guests of Ukrainian Fashion Week saw the looks in the concept of Roots of the Future – innovative developments in the field of biodesign, embodied through cooperation with the Ukrainian laboratory S.Lab. Experimenting with 100% biodegradable materials, scientists and designers have made the world’s first mico-material, grown on used coffee bags from natural jute, which has become bio-accessory.
The show’s partners were the international modeling agency Voce Management Ltd, which is headquartered in Paris, London and Istanbul and will soon open a representative office in Ukraine.
