Episode 3: Indian Fashion, Sustainability & our choices with Amrita Thakur, a style curator and Indian wear designer.
My personal connect with Amrita Thakur is as an ‘influencee’. In a virtual world full of editorial looks and twist up styling, she’s somebody that I appreciate for her classic, clean and often restyled outfits that never scream of being a “look”. Her label features Indianwear that is modern and elegant, but what she’s best known for is her unique approach for styling and her straight-to-camera styling videos that are addictively and aesthetically influential.
She seamlessly integrates upcoming designers, industry royalty and high street labels from the Indian Fashion scene into her everyday wardrobe. She encourages what I like to call ‘Sustainability of Choice’; repeating clothing, investment buying, heirloom pieces has a special place for jewellery and silver.
