Did you guys know that Namita Thapar, one of the judges on Shark Tank India, brought in ₹8 lakh per episode? And that’s 32 episodes, so ₹2.56 crore for the entire first season of Shark Tank India. That being said though, Namita Thapar ended up investing ₹6.3 crore in 22 different startups on Shark Tank India, and while a majority of these were startups in the health space (30%), which is the domain that she’s most familiar with as the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar also added a few D2C (20%) and fashion (13%) startups to her portfolio as well.
