From Schiaparelli’s out of this world collection to Charlotte Casiraghi opening the Chanel show on horseback, Dior’s ode to embroidery, and Valentino’s celebration of the female form, there was a lot to love from the haute couture spring\/summer 2022 catwalk shows.<\/p>\n
The schedule, which also saw the latest couture collections from Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli and Jean Paul Gaultier, featured more than a few breathtaking gowns that we expect to see gracing the red carpet over the next couple of months.<\/p>\n
It marked one of the most exciting moments on the fashion calendar that we’ve experienced in a long while. Although the Covid-19 pandemic continues to cause disruptions for designers and we did see some digital-first presentations, there were more physical shows than we have had on the agenda for a while, and plenty of international editors and influencers were in Paris to take in the collections on the front row.<\/p>\n
