This is, in part, because the timeframe necessary to achieve skin care goals is variable, long-term, and generally series-oriented. But the removal of a blackhead, sebaceous filament, or other pore-clogging matter brings both an instant gratification and immediate result for the skin therapist and client, respectively. Of course, when it comes to extractions, there\u2019s more than one way to unclog a pore. Some estheticians use a fingertip method, others use cotton swabs, yet others use extractors (for comedones).
