\nOnce you have located a sponsor, contact the Gateway Apprenticeship Department or the Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards (BAS) Office for a Cosmetology apprenticeship application form.
\nFill out the application with your sponsoring salon\/shop.
\nMeet the Notary Republic requirements and mail completed form to the BAS with the $10 fee or drop off at the Apprenticeship office.
\nContact the BAS and meet with a representative with your new sponsor.
\nYou can start working at your sponsoring salon\/shop upon the receipt of your Cosmetology Apprenticeship Permit.
\nContact Gateway Apprenticeship Department if you have not received registration information two weeks prior to the beginning of classes. (Classes begin in August, September, October, January, February, and March.)
