The designers brought back the mod silhouettes, pop motifs of flowers and sunburnt colours in a manner fitting to the current times. The idea behind Dev R Nil&#8217;s &#8216;Journey&#8217; came from a documentary about hippies. Without literally translating the nostalgic decade, the duo worked on the mindset of the free-spirited hippie to create clothes befitting the modern woman. Detail was paid to subtle variations in prints and seamless merging of embroideries. Payal Pratap&#8217;s &#8216;Vintage Rose&#8217; came from the designer&#8217;s continuous reference to flowers.
