How to pick a cosmetology school that suited me and my needs. Since color is my passion I definitely wanted a school who’s focus was on color. So I did a little research on color brands first and Aveda, seemed great but their color number system was so different from the rest I wanted to learn the basics and be able to apply what I learned to any brand. So basically I didn’t want to be stuck on the brand I learned with necessarily. The school I choose, academy for salon professionals -A Redken affiliated school, also had business and marketing course which I found very helpful, more than I thought I needed. And have defiantly helped in the salon world.
