Veteran designer JJ Valaya and his former assistants Alpana Mittal and Neeraj Chauhan came together for a unique presentation that was the Amazon India Fashion Week S/S 2017 grand finale. Modelled around the ‘Guru-Shishya’ (teacher-student) concept, the show featured Valaya and his former assistants Alpana Mittal and Neeraj Chauhan. The designers presented a festive collection that was edited by JJ Valaya. “For me it was very important to take it to the next level, from colours to the set, to the audiovisuals, the background score—the complete presentation,” said Valaya.
