#Kylieskin has been one of the more popular cosmetic industry gifts over this holiday season and has truly taken the #skincare world by storm. But, at the end of the day is this incredibly popular skincare line worth the money or is it just a overhyped and well marketed skincare line?

Well one of the most important and extremely obvious contradictions about this line is the person who makes it herself, Kylie Jenner. Now, we are not here to bash anyone for any reason and that’s not what we’re doing here today; however, Kylie Jenner is a bit of a contradiction in and of herself. She is using her image as the “after” product of this #skincareline and by doing that is misrepresenting the efficacy of her products. Kylie has had the following cosmetic procedures to her face specifically: lip fillers and a (very likely but not 100% confirmed) nose job. These are fine in and of themselves if that’s what you’re into. But, to add to this she also frequently gets incredibly expensive facial treatments in the range of $3,000 PER #FACIAL. Obviously only the incredibly rich can afford this and it’s not something we should be comparing ourselves to.

Having access to a quality skincare regime at home is great, but how something is marketed and sold is another. We believe that you should be shown exactly how a product works when you buy it all the while being truthfully informed of how quickly to expect results and when those results will occur.
